I'm Steven Tovey, currently a Senior Programmer in the Sony Computer Entertainment World Wide Studios Advanced Technology Group where I work on the rendering API for PlayStation Vita, and sometimes dabble in the shader compiler. I'm credited on a bunch of titles, which are listed here. Prior to joining SCE I was chained to a PlayStation3 pretending to be a Graphics Programmer on the technology that powered the racing game Blur and James Bond 007: Blood Stone. I specialise in developing for Sony family hardware including PlayStation(R)3 and PlayStation(R)Vita and have written bits and pieces about my experiences (most recently in Game Programming Gems 8, and GPU Pro: Advanced Rendering Techniques) as well as speaking at various game development conferences around the world.
